Sheffield

Sheffield is a city and metropolitan borough in South Yorkshire (coordinates - 53°23′09″N, 1°28′10″W).The population is estimated at 525,800 people. Sheffield has an international reputation for metallurgy and steel-making.While iron and steel have long been the main industries, coal mining has also been a major industry.Sheffield is a major retail centre too, and home to many High Street and department stores as well as designer boutiques. Sheffield is a snooker centre, because the city's Crucible Theatre is the venue for the World Snooker Championships. The city also has a number of tourist attractions such as the Lyceum Theatre and four art galleries.

Truro

Truro is the city in Cornwall, United Kingdom. Truro is the centre for administration, leisure and retail in Cornwall and has a population of 20,920. It is known that the settlement on the place of modern Truro existed since times of Norman. Gothic-revival Cathedral is the well-known Truro’s feature. The main attraction for local residents in the region is the wide variety of shops. The Royal Cornwall Museum is the oldest and main museum in Cornwall for exhibitions. Truro is also noted for its parks and open spaces. The piazza at Lemon Quay is the centre of the majority of festivals in Truro which involve visitors the year round with numerous various events.

Rosslyn

Rosslyn is located in the East of Scotland. The population of Rosslyn is about 30 000 people. It was the most religious city in Great Britain. Main industries of Rosslyn are plastic industry, agriculture and coal production. Rosslyn Chapel is a major tourist attraction, situated a few miles south of Edinburgh. Other major tourist attraction is Roslin Castle. It is located around 9 miles south of Edinburgh, only a few hundred metres from the famous Rosslyn Chapel.

Cardiff

Cardiff is situated near the Glamorgan Heritage Coast and has an official population of 317,500 people. The main industry is based on coal – making iron and steel. The town has annual festivals such as The Big Weekend Festival. Cardiff has many landmark buildings such as the Millennium Stadium, the Pierhead Building and the National Assembly for Wales. Cardiff is also famous for Cardiff Castle, St David's Hall, Llandaff Cathedral, the Wales Millennium Centre and Cathays Park. Cardiff Castle is a major tourist attraction in the city and is situated in the heart of the city centre. Other major tourist attractions are the Cardiff Bay and many other sites of interest including the Cardiff Bay Barrage and the famous Coal Exchange.

Preston

Preston is a city and local government district in Lancashire, England, located on the River Ribble. Preston has an overall population of 335,000. Preston is a major centre of the defence aerospace industry with two of BAE Systems major military assembly facilities being located at either end of the city. Also having a strong presence in the city is the brewing business with Inbev having several breweries located in the area.The city is home to Alstom Transport's main UK spare parts distribution centre which is located on Strand Road.Preston's premier landmark is probably St Walburge's Church which has, at 94 metres, the tallest spire in England on a church that is not a cathedral. More popular places in Preston are parks and museums.

Bournemouth

Bournemouth is one of the most attractive resorts in the southern coast of England, with pure sandy beaches and park zones. The city is very popular among tourists and Englishmen because of a friendly and safe city. It is a busy campus which offers a variety of opportunities for playing sports, relaxation and entertainment, starting with at 2 o'clock driving lessons with a trainer from London. The population is about 350 000 people.

Winchester

The history of Winchester stretches back to pre-Roman times, with an Iron Age enclosure or valley fort, Oram's Arbour, on the western side of the present-day city.Winchester or Winton (archaic) is a historic city in southern England, with a population of around 40,000 within a 3-mile (4.8 km) radius of its centre. It is the seat of the City of Winchester local government district, which covers a much larger area, and is also the administrative capital and county town of Hampshire. Winchester was formerly the capital of England, during the 10th and early 11th centuries, and before that the capital of Wessex.Winchester Cathedral, the second longest cathedral in Europe,is familiar to millions of travellers.It was originally built in 1079.Town is also a sport centre of England.

Edinburgh

Edinburgh is located in the south-east of Scotland, near the North Sea.
The population of Edinburgh is about 448, 624 people.
Tourism is an important economic mainstay in the city. The Old town with cobbled streets and well-preserved Medieval architecture is a splended tourist atrraction.
Culturally, Edinburgh is best known for the Edinburgh Festival, although this is in fact a series of separate events. Edinburgh is home to Scotland's five National Galleries. Edinburgh has a large number of pubs, clubs and restaurants. Edinburgh is home to a large number of museums and libraries.

Derby

Derby is a city in the East Midlands of England.The population of Derby is 233,700 people.Ancient monuments and ruins testify to Derby's long and fascinating history and today the town offers a great deal to interest visitors all the year round(B).
