Truro

Truro is the city in Cornwall, United Kingdom. Truro is the centre for administration, leisure and retail in Cornwall and has a population of 20,920. It is known that the settlement on the place of modern Truro existed since times of Norman. Gothic-revival Cathedral is the well-known Truro’s feature. The main attraction for local residents in the region is the wide variety of shops. The Royal Cornwall Museum is the oldest and main museum in Cornwall for exhibitions. Truro is also noted for its parks and open spaces. The piazza at Lemon Quay is the centre of the majority of festivals in Truro which involve visitors the year round with numerous various events.
